Have you tried reading the manuals to find out what are command console inputs and what are utility programs? Have you played around with MQExplorer to see whether there is a facility within it to browse messages? Have you bothered to do any self-study etc.? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys.

Code:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>AMQSPUT TEST QM1
Sample AMQSPUT0 start
target queue is TEST
HELLO
Sample AMQSPUT0 end
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>AMQSBCG TEST QM1
AMQSBCG0 - starts here
**********************
MQOPEN - 'TEST'
MQGET of message number 1
****Message descriptor****
No more messages
MQCLOSE
MQDISC
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>
by the way.. YOu should have given 'what' error you are getting ? You should have given 'what' you have tried to do so ? You should have given 'what' command you gave ? You should have given your 'mq' / 'system' details ?
Read MQPrimer/IBM InfoCenter , that would help you !!!!
