Hi,
We are using makedefs for taking backup of MQ objects of z/os qmgr.
i am new to z/os so don't know how to automate the jobs in mainframe .....
is there any way to automate this job to run weekly and take backup on mainframe?

How to setup this automation using CRON on same Z/OS m/c? |

Most z/OS sites have specific software (Automate, CA7, etc, etc) to run jobs on a schedule; use that.
