All.
Has anyone seen this type of queue before? Pub/Sub messages are being written to this queue and I can't find out why.

It appears that all active execution groups are making connections.

Thanks,

No but is it anything to do with BMC Software's monitoring tool? Just a guess.

Does the content of the message give a clue?

I searched the BMC website and could not find anything regarding this queue.

The message all have RFH2 headers and they are Pub/Sub messages. The messages make reference to Statics.

Do you own BMC Patrol? If not, it's probably a red herring.

What does the naming standards of your company say about a queue named "BMCS.xxxxxx"?

Who in your company has authority to create queues named "BMCS"? Who in your company has authorites to enable broker statistics and create a subscription to a queue named "BMCS.MQSI.EVENTS.ALL"?

mqjeff,
We do own BMC patrol, but after researching this issue last night, I think someone create the queue and enabled Broker Accounting and Statistics.

The queue continues to fill up with these "Publish" messages. I have tried deactivating the broker statistics with the mqsichangeflowstats, but the messages continue to be written to the queue.

The messages are probably a dynamic subscription from BMC patrol broker knowledge module. Talk to your BMC rep in my opinion you'd be better off with BMC middleware monitoring and performance (ex QPasa) as they now own this product too.

Have fun
