Could it possibly be that the longer this site is up, the more posts it accumalates, and dare I say, the Search button actually gets used more often and answers questions that have already been posted?! |

I think there is a lot more browsing goes on, judging by some of the page views. Some of the mods have been somewhat more stringent in telling off naughty children , so I think one element of it is that people are giving more consideration to their issue before they post (always exceptions of course), and I think that most people are probably 'steady state' pre-version migration - as alluded to by others.
That said, all customers satisfied, all systems 'green', all pigs fed and ready to fly! It used to be that if I skipped 3-4 days then there would be a huge number of unread posts. Now it is a trivial amount. |
The experienced people have become even more experienced. So the answers have got better, leading to less random babble.
Well, anything's possible.
Like the search facility in the MQ info center getting better.. which it has. IMHO, anyway. (I seem to find what I'm looking for sooner than when I could when it first came out. But maybe I have got better at searching for things it is likely to find..)

Did all the MQ people get laid-off? Or are they just too busy these days? Or is there another MQ forum / blog / social thingy that I don't know about?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Well, I do not know about the traffic on this website, but for a amateur professional like me this forum is a Bible. And those experts who goes out of their way and spends time in helping others are my "Heroes".
I take my hat off to them!

I see there's also discussion groups on Linkedin Groups, but that volume is really low. _________________ -wayne |

No, not at all. We all learn from the question and answer process. Even the most knowledgeable don't know all there is to know. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
