CSQUTIL & file transfer / shared DASD, depending on the links between the LPARs. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

You might try
1. copy messages from QM1 Q1 LPAR1 out to a sequential dataset using the CSQUTIL utility
2. define a new queue on QM2 LPAR2
3. load messages to QM2 Q2 LPAR2 using the CSQUTIL utility
4. empty QM1 Q1 LPAR1 messages
5. delete Q1 on MQ1
Note: the queue name on QM2 must be the same as it was on QM1 for this to work. |

Queue name must not be the same when using CSQUTIL.
Another possibility (if CAF is available) is to use MO71 (MQADMIN) supportpac to copy or move messages _________________ Regards, Butcher |
