I have a situation set such that it will generate an alert if xmitq' curdepth is greater than 10.

In remote cms logs shows that the situation is true but alert is not generated.

Please advise what could be the reason for the alert is not generated.

The system generating the alert having lost connection with the TEMS server??

Did you associate the situation with the target server? If you don't, no alert will appear on the TEP console.
