Try specifying a name for the qmgr in the destination, as well as a name for the queue.
So if I have QM1 & QM2 and QM1 is local to me then I should specify QM1 as qmanager for destination? But it's already the default for empty qmanager property, isn't it?

No, you would specify 'ABC'. QM1 would have a QREMOTE named 'ABC', that had RQMNAME('').

One additional thought...

Were all the queues set to NOTFIXED before the application(s) connected, and have the application(s) been stopped/started since, or released their OPEN on the queue?

All senders are being stopped and started after every time I change any attribute. Before that I used to see very weird behavior (you can see a description of it at the beginning of this thread).

You didn't get my question.

Machine A has queue manager named QMA and machine B has queue manager named QMB. Both have clustered queue that's local name it QAB.

Now you want me to create on QMA for example a remote queue also named QAB with rqmname(''), then in the Destination I should fill in qmanager property with value QMA, isn't that correct?

By senders do you mean channels, or applications?

Applications. Should I restart channels? And if channels were not restarted is that behavior I'm experiencing well expected?

Just me being pedantic, senders mean something different to me

If this is test level, I'd check every attribute is correctly set (use a matrix to ensure you record what is there, not what you expect to see) and then stop/start all the queue managers - just to be sure everything is 'reset' to a known state. If you hit the same problem again then maybe it's PMR time.

You see, I'm no admin and I even donno if there is such thing called restarting channels, but for a moment you made me feel that we're about to nail down that contact admin problem. I'll go with your suggestion.
