Hi There,
I am getting 2 errors, not sure whether these are related ?
1.
I am using WMQ v5.3 CSD11. I can create a queue manager successfully using MQ Services window however at the end on the process it just crashes giving error message about mmc.exe. When I reopen MQ Services window, can't see any component at all. I can see the newly created QM in MQ Explorer, can create queues, put messages in that and read messages. I checked windows event Viewer and it shows that the queue manager was created successfully but then got error in Microsoft Management Console. "The description for event id (1000) in Source (MMC) cannot be found.....". "Application failure mmc.exe 5.2.3790.3959 in unknown 0.0.0.0at offset 00000000...." I checked the MQ \errors folder and in the file *.FDC file, I get the error as
LVLS 530.11 CSD11
Probe ID XC371020
Application name MQM
Component xstServerRequest
Process name c:\windows\system32\mmc.exe
Probe Type MSGAMQ6119
etc .. .and then the stack trace ....
It's windows Server 2003 service pack 2 OS.
2. When I try to open another QM in MQ Explorer, I get the error message "MMC cannot initialise the snap-in"
Are these 2 issues related ? Can anyone please suggest about this issue.
I checked
c:\windows\system32\mmc.exe is of version 5.2.3790.3959.
Any ideas to fix this. I can only use MQ Explorer and things work but it's just that I want to use MQ Services as well.
