Hi All,
I am trying to use JMS nodes with Websphere App Server JMS provider, but the IBM infocentre says that "The JMS nodes work with the WebSphere MQ JMS provider, WebSphere Application Server Version 6.0, the IBM® Service Integration Bus, and any JMS provider that conforms to the Java Message Service Specification, version 1.1. WebSphere Message Broker supports Java 5 (also known as Java 1.5")
My host application is running on WAS 5.1. Does it mean JMS nodes wouldnt work with it.
Waiting for your urgent reply.
thanks in advance. |

If you mean that you are running the internal WAS 5.1 JMS provider (not MQ) then it means that you can't make any connections outside of WAS to the provider. Best you could do would be a J2EE client connection with the corresponding server code which, with WAS, looks heavyweight...
Hope that helps _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
