Hi ,
I am using oracle 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.3.0 database with message broker 6.0.
I have configured the datasource in .odbc.ini file and created TNS names in tnsnames.ora file. I have set the username and password for the datasource using mqsisetdbparms.
When i try to insert data into a table, it is not throwing any error. But it is not inserting either.
But it throws errors on constraint violations.
Could anybody tell me how to troubleshoot this.
Regards,
Suresh. |

Hi next,
Check the primary keys of the table...see if the record you are inserting has the same values as that already existing in the table for those primary key columns.

Hi Padawan,
Actually, the problem is, broker is able to throw exceptions on the constraints. But it is not able to insert select or update the table.
It is not about the values.

Suresh. |

Why don't you let us decide for ourselves. Paste the esql insert statement, the error thats being thrown, and the output of the describe statement run on your oracle table.
