I currently have 100 000 manual activities X 17 users = 1 700 000 WorkItems.
I want to change status of 10 users to "absent".
1. Is WorkItem will be created for absent user?
2. If existing WorkItems will be removed when I set user to absent?
3. If absent user will be able to handle WorkItem when it starts working again ( I mean, if WorkItem will be autocreated for him) _________________ Best regards.

No workitem will be created for a user who is currently marked absent, but if that user has a substitiute a workitem will be created for the substitute.

Once the workitem is created it will be there until the instance no longer exists.

No, workitems are only created when the activity becomes ready. _________________ John McDonald
