Is it a valid design scenario.

HTTP Input Node(output terminal) -->Compute node for setting MQ Headers-->MQ Output Node.

(failure and catch terminals) from HTTP Input Node connected to a compute node to parse exception list and connected MQ Out Node.

There is no reply back to the http requester in this design.

Is this a valid scenario?

No, but only because

HTTP is a synchronous protocol. It requires a response back. Unless you like having your HTTP clients complain that they never know if anything worked or not, because all they get is timeouts.

You don't actually have to send any data back through the HTTPReply node, but you do have to wire one in.

Thanks Jeff I am having a similar problem of time out for the test client flow from where I invoked.

No my question is since I am using a compute node/MQ Output node to send the XML I recieved from the client to the http input node.

Should I use a flow order node to connect an http reply node.

Thanks in advance.

A flow order node is one way to call the HTTPReply node.

There are other ways to do so as well.
