I setup with the following thread stanza in the .ini file.
Thread:
TriggerQueueName=CLIENT.TRIGMON.INITQ
TriggerQueueMgrName=Q01T
CONNAME=mvssysb(1414)
CHANNEL=SYSTEM.DEF.SVRCONN
According to the documentation (readme) the monitor should attempt a MQCONNX because CONNAME and CHANNEL are specified.
I receive this error in the event log:
"MQCONN" returned 2058 for queue "SYSTEM.DEFAULT.INITIATION.QUEUE" and qmgr " ", retrying ...
I do no understand why its an MQCONN instead of an MQCONNX and also why its taking the default on the INITQ instead of using the one I specified in the .ini file. |

I'd like you to email me the ini file and an extract of the windows system log.
I used the email button because I didn't want to post my email address here, and it's not fully associated with the ma7k package as far as I know...
it's not hard to figure out, but. |

I did, and thank you very much for the help.
I thought that the whole .ini was commented out to begin with, so I just setup the thread stanza that I wanted and then didn't realize that 2 threads were being started. I apologize for the oversight. |
