Please can you add some tips to it to avoid this kind of errors in prod.

Thanks,
Chandra.

This is a DATA error. You need to know your data. Or plan for the case and code for it.

Have fun

It would seem there are a number of things that can give that error and a lot of it depends on how your oracle dba has set oracle up. I used Google to find this link below which might be a good starting place to ask your DBA how the DB is setup. It also doesn't say and neither do you as to whether this error is a exception or a warning e.g if you have set the treat warning as errors check flag on your compute node - of course assuming it is a compute node? some additional info would have been good.

Here is the link to start you off

Good luck!

Thanks for the reply!

QM is configrured to handle XA transactions, the broker and db are running on two diff boxes. When there is a network glitch or for some other reasons if the db link broken, XA resource will be terminated, in that case we need to restart the Qmgr and Broker.
Broker is not loosing the db connection, broker able to connect the db, and flow can see the db and flow, but not the data in the table, and flow is throwing error, but when we connect to the same db and same table from other box, the query is giving all the records.

We have seen below errors in user.log

BIP2322E: Database error: SQL State 'HY000'; Native Error Code '1403'; Error Text '[DataDirect][ODBC Oracle driver][Oracle]ORA-01403: no data found '.

BIP2322E: Database error: SQL State 'HY000'; Native Error Code '2049'; Error Text '[DataDirect][ODBC Oracle driver][Oracle]ORA-02049: timeout: distributed transaction waiting for lock '
BIP2124E: The Execution group has detected a condition which requires it to shutdown and restart
BIP2616E: Unable to commit a WebSphere MQ transaction; MQCMIT failed; queue manager=XXXXXXXX, MQCC=2, MQRC=2195
When we restarted the qm and broker all the msgs processed as expected. [/b]

and got FDC with below info.

Major Errorcode :- trcE_UNEXPECTED_RM_ERROR |
| Minor Errorcode :- OK |
| Probe Type :- MSGAMQ7605
Probe Description :- AMQ7605: The XA resource manager XXXXXX has returned |
| an unexpected return code -3, when called for xa_prepare.

Any suggestions please?

Thanks,
Chandra.
