Scenario:

System 1 puts message on queue that Broker MsgFlow gets from and does some transformation. Message flow establishes a destination list based upon info in the message matching to a cached routing table (the queue manager name is not specified). The queue that the broker puts to is a queue defined as clustered and this queue occurs on two queue managers that reside in a Cluster that also includes the queue manager where the broker resides. Issue: All of the messages destined for this clustered queue goes to only one of the queues (No Load Balancing Occurs).

Outside of the broker, manually we have successfully put messages from the queue manager to the clustered queue on the other qmgrs and load balancing works like it is advertised.

So how do we get this to work from the broker?

Make sure BIND NOT FIXED is specified

And if the queue exists in the broker queue manager make sure it has the ANY attribute in the right cluster parm (look it up). Otherwise the default is to only consider the local queue...

IBM gave this, please have a look at :
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg1IZ23058

They say..this may resolve the issue of uneven load sharing in the cluster between queue managers.

As a separate note: if the queue, that is clustered among queue managers and having multiple instances with same name on more then one queue managers, to be deleted from the cluster queue manager(s) then it 'must' be first unshared from that cluster then removed/deleted.
If this is not done then this might cause an issue.
