Hello Guys...!
WTX is having support packs to generate type trees for their transaction.
If they requirement come to WMB with out WTX, How we can handle it?
We have to create each message set manually for each transaction?
It's very hard to define it for each transaction.
Can any one guide me how to handle it ?
[ As of now I am in requirement Gathring for my project, So I need to suggest weather we need to use WTX or not] |

I suggest that you contact the IBM Dublin team ( email dubadapt@ie.ibm.com ). I believe they have some ready-made message sets available. |

Are the message sets for X 12 messages (mentioned in kimbert's response) still available ? We need to process only one type of EDI message for which WTX seems like a costly alternative. We asked our IBM sales contact about the message sets mentioned in the post below and have not heard anything back for almost a week now. Is anyone using these message sets from IBM Dublin team ?

They're quite widely used, actually. Not just EDI - they do SWIFT and other industry formats too. |

Thanks for the info Kimbert.
What should I tell our IBM contact person so that he will know whom to talk to ? I had already forwarded your response the earlier post which had the email id of the Dublin team.

No need for a name - just send an email to the dubadapt address above with a few introductory details. |

Finally our IBM contact is talking to someone from the "lab" about this and hopefully we will get the message definition file soon. Fingers crossed....
Thank you for your help.
