Hi All,
I am using mq series 6.0 presently on HP-UX 11.11. But I would like to use mq 7.0 as this is providing more functionality. I have read the installation procedure for 7.0 and found that we can install mq 7.0 for HP-UX 11.23 and HP-UX 11.31 pa-risc and itanium platform only.( http://www-01.ibm.com/software/integration/wmq/requirements/index.html#WebSphereMQV70/701 )
Is there any possibility to install the mq 7.0 on HP-UX 11.11 v server.

Raise a PMR & ask. It might be that it will be tested on that platform at some future date.
It might be possible to get v7 running on an unlisted platform but without buy-in from IBM it'll be unsupported.

| No. MQ gets built/tested on the oldest supported OS listed in the SOE. While NEWER versions of an OS might get supported in future, older ones will never be. In general you cannot run a product on versions of an OS older than where it was built. |

I hope that I can run mq 7.0 on older version.

Don't hope. Get a definitive answer from IBM that it it NOT supported on that OS and use it to push back on your management. If they insist on you going ahead, and you get it working, ensure you get a risk letter (preferably signed in blood) that if it goes belly up, you are not liable for the consequences.
