Hi Gurus,

Is it possible to assign a storage class to 2 different pagesets? Thanks for your help.

Regards,
Dave

Though a page set can contain multiple storage classes.

Dave, why do you ask?

MQ 6 and up allows the page sets to be much bigger than before, just in case size is the issue.

Search for "pagesets" here:

I'm finding a way to increase/decrease pagesets while queue manager is running(as long as there are no messages in the queues). I guess it would not be possible. I'll try to check the manuals again, thanks for the help Vitor and Peter.

This is why scheduled maintenance slots are so important.

If a queue is empty it can be altered to assign it to a different storage class (that is in different pageset).
