Hello. I am writing a simple client/server using the MQSeries base Java classes (btw I have seen the same behaviour using C). Everything works fine until I kill the server (SIGKILL). Then I restart it and send a message. This first message is lost (or at least I don't know where does it go). The second and so messages are delivered until once again I kill the process (i. e. after restart of the server daemon I always lose the first message). I suppose that this is a pretty common question, but could not find any hints in the documentation. Any ideas?

Ok, that question is already answered in another posting. I should use the MQGMO_SYNCPOINT option. Some pple (me) tend first to write (speak) then to read (think)...
