The outbound adapter built with the Messageset has been configured to SAPRequest Node.
2 of the elements for that Mset contains minoccurs 1 as a condition. When I hit the SAPRequest with the XML message without including those 2 elements I get no validation error...

Does this mean SAPReq node never validates the incoming message against Messagset ? or is it not in our scope and relays on BAPI defs etc ?

Well I hope you did model correctly your SAP message. If you failed to model it, you would have to rely on the adapter's checking capability (see SAP JCO), but I doubt that this is what you had in mind...

will you please take a trace of the output message and confirm us.

hope you have selected the message sets in the response message parsing attribute in SAP Request Node

yes message sets in the response message parsing attribute in SAP Request Node has been selected.

yes will soon update with the Trace results

It's not likely to be a fault in the validation logic - not unless you are using some very advanced feature of XML schema. But that's unlikely if you're implementing a SAP message flow.
