Did anybody work on Harvest plug-in in WMB Toolkit? Is there any document or any url with regard to Harvest eclipse plugin usage? |

I once worked at a site that used it. This was in the V5 days and Harvest was sometimes a real PITA to use.
Harvest may well have moved on since but getting support at the time was not easy.
It certainly wouldn't be my product of choice in that area. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |

A lot of people are working happily with subversion and the subclipse plugin to eclipse... Is there a specific reason that forces you to use Harvest? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

I have used harvest within broker and recently, and altho there are certainly parts of it that are a PITA as previously suggested it was also quite cool in other erspects. There are 2 plugins for the Eclipse depending on what version of Harvest you are running. One word of advice though do not attempt to use any of the merge fuinctionality that is assocaited with "team" working cos its pants and completely screws up the whole situ.
I am not sure how you do it butr if you want to send me a PM with your email address and i will attempt to dig out the info I have on how to set it up and some of the other functional bits. I may also with prior permission from them be able to direct you to those i know still use it as its their company policy also.
TBH tho it SVN and at a push CVS is better but if you got no choice then i will attempt to help. |

Thanks for your response, Smith.
If you had faced any peculiar issues with Harvest and been able to find the solution, could you please share with me? And dedicated online forum for Harvest?
I have droped a PM with my email address.
Thanks in advance. |
