I want to export all the userInformation from workflow. I tried to use fmcibie command & exported FDL.
When I import this exported FDL file again all the User passwords get reset to "password".
I want a way by which I can export all the User Information from workflow (ie from DB2) along with passwords and then again restore it back. |

Correct - when you exported user information from Run Time DB - all passwords was removed because of security policy.
Users password can be generated only in Build Time and then exported to fdl file.
If it help you - you can change the password using API

BTW: when you import fdl without password - WF set it to default "password"

Why I want is, We are storing userInfo in LDAP. If new user added in LDAP, we export their info from LDAP and generate FDL and import that in runtime. We maintain FDL but that do not contain all the USER information as some USERs will be added directly as I mensioned.
I haven't faced any problems because of this, but just wanted to know a way to get userInfo with password details. |

I don't sure if it possible.
Password is stored in DB in specify format, which different from FDL...
May be some expert can provide more information.
May be you can change password in both (LDAP and RunTime) at the same time using API?
