I will shortly be taking early retirement from IBM Hursley after 26 years with the company.
I have spent the last twenty years working on the CICS and MQ products, so I think I can claim to have a good knowledge of both products and the MQ-CICS interfaces as well as mainframe programming in general.
Whilst I intend to enjoy my retirement and am not looking for full time work I am considering taking on short term consultancy work to supplement the pension and keep me out of mischief and my wifes hair.
If you would like to contact me for CV/Resume and to discuss availability please send a PM with details of job. _________________ Bob Buxton

Enjoy your time, and spare a thought for those of us who still have to work for a living.

Hi Bob,
I was amazed at reading your background. Very similar to mine. I am also working in CICS-MQ environment and am right now working on a critical interface. Hope I can count on you for some informal chats and some advice.
Hope to catch you in this forum whenever.
Happy retirement. Enjoy it, you deserve it.
