Hi,
I have asked to provide system requirement for our new MQ v6 servers. Please refer me few documents/links. My platforms are solaris and unix.
Please let me know the considerations I should made during this estimation. |

The minimum system requirements are stated in the relevant Quick Beginnings manual, but whether those minima will be sufficient for the needs of the solution is another matter, in which case take a look at the SupportPac site for the performance evaluations particular to your platforms.
Look at my tag line for a clue where to find the links... _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

exerk, thanks for your reply.
I am looking for some estimation in terms of storage, memory and any other resource limit configuration. I had already gone through the Quick Beginning manuals but they do not seems enough, as you mentioned....
I have checked the performance evaluation support pack. They do not provide an estimation of system resource required for specific need(like no of queues, traffic load and no of applications running). Any suggestion will be welcome. |

well you know your environment
you know your applications
therefore you should be abale to roughly estimate some values based on your own knowledge _________________ Who is General Failure and why is he reading my hard drive?
