Hello,
Is it possible to start more than one listener in a Z/OS MQ CHIN address space? For example in addition to starting listener on port 3090 could I also start listener on port 3095?
Would I need another set of channels S/R for 3095?
+CSQX022I +MQD1 CSQXSUPR Channel initiator initialization complete
+CSQX251I +MQD1 CSQXSTRL Listener started, TRPTYPE=TCP INDISP=QMGR
+CSQX023I +MQD1 CSQXLSTT Listener started, port 3090 address *,
TRPTYPE=TCP INDISP=QMGR
+CSQX500I +MQD1 CSQXRCTL Channel MQD1.TO.SUNDEVL started |

yes, you can start multiple listeners on z/OS
your channels are scope qmgr, not scope listener. _________________ Regards, Butcher |
