Hi Guyz,
I installed WTX Design Studio v8.3 on Win 2003 Server. When i am trying to install EDIFACT v2.7 Pack, i am getting the below Error.
"Setup has detected that you are trying to install components that require IBM Websphere Transformation Extender Design Studio. Please install IBM WebSphere Transformation Design Studio before attempting to install this product"
Is there anything wrong during WTX DS installation??
can anybody guide me to resolve this issue ??

Hi krishnadvn,
What is the version of EDIFACT pack you are installing?
8.3 Design Studio requires 2.7.4.1 X12 pack and 2.7.4.1 EDIFACT Pack.
X12 pack needs to be installed before installing EDIFACT pack. |

Well you are right, i am trying to install EDIFACT v2.7
i will try with EDIFACT v2.7.4.1
i am done with X12 v2.7.4.1 on windows.
Now my question is do we need these X12 & EDIFACT on Solaris as well??
i need to install Command Server v8.3 on solaris, guess i need to install it on win as well (correct me if i am wrong).
before installing on Solaris, what are the Kernal Parameters that need to be modified (add ... change), any clue on this?
do i have to install any application programming online lib on solaris too?
finally do u have any idea abt how to configure WTX DS v8.3 with Clear case ???
can u gimme some clues to proceed further??
