Raj,
Please take a look at Chapter 1 - Concepts of Intercommunication, Topic - Message Channels in MQSeries Intercommunication manual. _________________ Kiran

Hi,
Fully qualified server channel is one that has the CONNAME parameter (that means you are able to start the connection from the server's side).
Fully qualified server - receiver pair does not differ in anything from sender - receiver pair.
Server - requester pair would be suitable for a scenario where one of sides changes its IP address. For example if an insurance agent travels around the country with his laptop and every day has a different IP addres, he may use a requester channel to connect to his server and download current offers/prices/whatever. _________________ Marcin Grabinski <>< |

Hi,
You can also use the SENDER-REQUESTER, and have the ablity to start the channels from both ends, because threy are fully qualified.
