Hi,

I am trying to delete the Broker and Config manager off my windows machine but i'm getting an error message saying

"the procedure enrty point ?getNextMessage@ImbCmdMessageSet@@QAE_NAVVImbCmdMessage@@v?$ImbStringBase?GU?char_traits@G@std@@D$0CF@@@@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library ImbCmdLib.dll"

How can i resolve this and how can i forcefully remove the Broker off my machine?

Have you stopped / cancelled all the broker components?

As this seems to be windows, make sure you use the right username /login to delete the broker/configmgr and make sure you ran mqsiprofile before issuing the mqsistop and or mqsidelete command...

What is the end purpose of deleting the broker? To create a new one? To uninstall the product?

This error looks like miss-matching binaries. Did you try and install fix pac, and did the install fail part way through?

Regards,

Start the queue manager.. (broker and configmgr should be in stop mode only) and then try to issue mqsidelete command..

If you want to uninstall the product, then you don't need to delete the broker not really. You can just uninstall it.

Then you can go into the registry and delete all the MQSI entries, and delete anything left over in the file system. Just make sure the broker is actually stopped.
