Hi, I am testing the request reply scenario on MQ 7.0.1.0 following the MQ 6.0 manual. My setup is requesting (distributed) qmgr (QMLETABA) with remote queue definition QR.REQUEST, and local queue QL.REPLY. This queue manager connects to a hub queue manager (QMSKUKUZA) which in a cluster. The local request queue is QL.REQUEST (clustered) on another clustered queue manager QMJHBHO1.

QR.REQUEST -> -> QL.REQUEST

I keep getting a 2085 when using the amqreq sample program. Perhaps my syntax is wrong. Please advise what command I should use. Thanks.

P.S. the diagram doesn't come out well. QMLETABA is not part of the cluster.

I'd say it's more likely your set up is wrong. You don't say what part of the v6 manual you're following (and why not use the manual for the software version you're using?) but I think you might want to review the section of the Cluster manual where it talks about putting a message into a cluster from the outside.
