Hi,
I am reading an input using MQInput node where I want to know the file name of the input message that has been posted on the queue. But I could not find the file name in the message header properties. Could someone help me on this.

What file name? Messages on a queue are just that. They are not files and so dont have a corresponding "file name".

If you have a scenario where something upstream takes files and puts them to a queue then this may or may not retain filename information but that depends entirely on your setup.

Thanks for the reply shaman.

I need some unique id to find out the message. I have taken messagid as we couldnot able to take filename in the mqinput node as you said.

Beware, the MQMD.MsgId may not be unique.
You can program WMQ to send a message with your own MsgId rather than letting WMQ generate one for you.

It might be true that in your system it is unique but you should always ask the question!
