Will MQ 6.0 run on a AIX 5.3 machine with the following configuration?
Machine Serial Number: 103508A
Processor Type: PowerPC_POWER4
Number Of Processors: 2
Processor Clock Speed: 1002 MHz
CPU Type: 64-bit
Kernel Type: 32-bit
LPAR Info: 1 NULL |

This will likely be documented in the WMQ Quick Beginnings manual, or the product announcement letter - both available on ibms website.

No, MQ 6.0 was and is a 64-bit engine. You need a 64-bit machine and OS.
I suggest to do this type of planning in conversation with your IBM account team, as it might help to discuss requirements with them. |
