In windows environment.

when i start the trigger monitor, i could see that there are two processes runmqtrm.exe running.

FYI,I killed all the processes before starting it again.

May i know the reason for why there are two runmqtrm.exe processes running ?

Thanks in Advance

One started automatically by the queue manager, one started manually by yourself?

One reading one init queue, one reading another?

Other explainations are possible.

Could you be more specific in this statement " One started automatically by the queue manager"

I do agree that two runmqtrm.exe processes polls two init queues but the scenario here is for a single init q i was getting two processes.

I restarted the q manager and started the trigger monitor. now it seems working fine now.

I'm not sure why i was getting an extra processes previously.

Thx for your reply

The queue manager can be configured to start a trigger monitor.

Then it sounds like you had a left over process running.
