We are trying to create a new cluster with 5 queue managers and adding one queue manager at a time. We observed that after adding a new queue manager, the last working one was stops working.

Are you running all those qmgrs on the same box?
What is your environment? I seem to recall that there was some talk about needed to set some variable in SOLARIS Zones if you wanted to run more than 4 qmgrs on the same box...
