All,
I'm trying to secure my MQ Explorer connection using SSL.
I have created SSL connections for non-java applications and everything works fine. Once I try and convert the .kdb to .jks, I receive "AMQ9665: SSL connection closed by remote end of channel '????'." error.
I have tried creating the .jks from scratch and I receive the same error.
1. QMGR2 is on Windows
2. MQExplorer is on the same machine.
Can someone help me with this? I have search the forum and I did not find any solutions.
Thanks, Lisa |

THIS link is probably teaching you to suck eggs, but is still very useful as a reminder... _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

I should have added that the link is specific to setting authorities, but my addled brain forgot to add that in my first response post
That said, whilst it won't help you sort the SSL problem, it is usually forgotten (or people don't care) that SSL authenticates that the connection has a valid certificate. Also, it would help us a bit more if you could post the relevant parts of the queue manager/client error logs. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Thanks for your help. Everything is working fine. In MQExplorer, I forgot to point to the .jks file.
