Hello folks,
The command 'DISPLAY CHINIT' returns
Code: |
...
6 channels current, maximum 200
2 channels active, maximum 200
...
|
The command 'DISPLAY SYSTEM' shows
In the MQSC book it says: "CTHREAD - Maximum number of connections from batch, CICS, IMS, and TSO tasks to a single instance of WebSphere MQ (CTHREAD)"
So,
1) Whats is the difference between 'active' and 'current' ?
2) Why the difference between 'maxixmum' returned by 'DISPLAY CHINIT' (200) and the 'maximum' value returned by 'DISPLAY USAGE' (300) ?
3) Why 'DISPLAY CHINIT' does not return the current value, only giving out he maximum value?
Which one I should monitor? |

The WMQ Intercommunications manual is a good place to find this kind of information. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
