I used nettool for http but it doesn't seem to help with httpS.
can any one suggest some good free tool for httpS ?

If I am not wrong, SoapUI supports HTTPS.

yes it does
it even enables setting up various values and creating msg
I am not here for branding SOAPUI but yes.. I hv used it in past,, and liked it for testing soap web services...
