hi,
I need to build an interface using C# that is accessing a local queue that is also part of a cluster.
I am using the queueManager.AccessQueue(QueueName, OpenOptions) - method used to access the local queue.
However, when i am trying to get the Depth of the queue it throws an exception saying that it is not a local but a cluster queue!?
My question is: How to get all the messages that are in a LOCALLY defined queue (defined as queue type = Local) and is also part of a cluster?
When i remove that local queue from the cluster everything works fine. However, i will not be able to put messages to it from another queue manager.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
George.

A little bit more searching on the topic would have told you a few things
Your mgo options are probably wrong... hence the error message.
But I'm really leaning out on a limb here... Post some code.
Queue depth has nothing to do with your question about getting all messages on the queue
The best practice way to process all messages is to do an MQGET call until the response is RC 2033 (no more messages matching the criteria)
Have fun
