I recently did MQ channel level security by adding few ips to the svrconn channel. I used IPexit to add these ips. But after adding these ips,users report that they get the following error message;

Unable to load message catalog - mqji
com.ibm.mq.MQException: Completion Code 2, Reason 2195

I have checked the existence of IPexit file in both /var/mqm/exits and /var/mqm/exits64.

Displaying Channel Details;

Please can you guess what went wrong here?

Is application restart required here after the channel is secured with IP.

If you look at the FDC file that goes with the 2195 you may not have to guess

I'd imagine it needs to reconnect, but am not speaking from a position of authority.

Thanks Vitor.I do not see any FDC files.

I have now blocked the channel using New checkuser released by IBM and not with IPexit.

It worked fine.
