We have 2 full repositories FR1 and FR2. Unexepectdly we had cleared repositroy queue of FR2. Now most of the partial repos queue managers are not visible in FR2. But they are visible in FR1.
Question is How to transfer the repository information from FR1 to FR2?? |

AFAIK, full respositories exchange information between them. Whatever is in FR1 could be transfered into FR2. |

True.

If you're advocating some kind of manual transfer this is a receipe for disaster. Fix the cluster using approved methods.
In this context, what "whatever" were you thinking should be transfered? Just dump the SYSTEM queues from one queue manager to the other? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

yes, it is true jeevan. Full repositories should exchange the information.
But it is not happening.
Jeff,
If I dump the repository information from FR1 to FR2. was there any impact to partial repos??
and is there any issue with system cluster command queue |

And you need to determine why.
Do I look like I spell my name "Jeff"? Or do you feel I'm not qualified, and you're reaching out to a more qualified poster??

Aside from your cluster not working, probably not.
What do you plan to copy? How? What leads you to believe this will work? What more conventional straetgies have you tried before going for this desperate and probably doomed action?

Aside from your gung-ho attitude to system objects and your desire to fill them with highly dubious data, probably not.
If you mean "if I copy from FR1 to FR2, is there any issue with the system cluster command queue", well yes. It will probably be corrupt.
It's a bad idea to fiddle directly with system objects. Especially in clusters. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

As an aisde, how did you manage to "unexpectedly" clear out this information? Perhaps more importantly, how do you plan to prevent this happening in future?
If you "unexpectedly" cleared it out by "accidently" deleting and recreating the queue manager, I think I've found your problem..... _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Use the easy method.
Make FR2 a partial repository.
Then make FR2 a full repository again.
This should fix it.
Have fun _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
