Hi,
I am not sure how to find the applications which are connected to the remote queue on a queue manager.
I know for the local queues we can find this by
dis qs(<queue name>) type(handle) all
But, for the remote queues how to find this?
Thanks in advance, |

Remote queues devolve to the xmitq they use.
How much use this information will be to you is questionable. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

What you are looking for is called 'remote administration.'
You can use the WMQ Explorer. You can also runmqsc -w. Third-party software can also do remote admin. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

I think he was asking how to see what apps have a remote queue definition open, not how to see what apps have local queues open on remote QMs. _________________ Peter Potkay
