Hi,

I am not sure how to find the applications which are connected to the remote queue on a queue manager.

I know for the local queues we can find this by
dis qs(<queue name>) type(handle) all

But, for the remote queues how to find this?

Thanks in advance,

Remote queues devolve to the xmitq they use.

How much use this information will be to you is questionable.

What you are looking for is called 'remote administration.'

You can use the WMQ Explorer. You can also runmqsc -w. Third-party software can also do remote admin.

I think he was asking how to see what apps have a remote queue definition open, not how to see what apps have local queues open on remote QMs.
