I had an issue while connecting one of the Local queue and got below error.
/home/mqm/utils/mqGetC Mon Oct 19 08:53:42 2009 - MQ.TEST.Queue COND: (Failed) REASON: (Object already open with conflicting options.)
To resolve this, I closed the existing connection(SVRCONN1) and started new connection(SVRCONN2). Both connections are using diff SVRCONN channels and later i was able to bring up other connection(SVRCONN1) as well. Not sure why the earlier unable to connect.
I came to know that there is two types of MQGET calls to open queue like Shared access and Exclusive access.
Is that restricting to connect the queue? Also how to identify is that queue opened with Shared access and Exclusive access?
Thanks,
Sakthi |

Look in the manual for DISPLAY QSTATUS... _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Programmers specify in OPEN_OPTIONS whether to open the queue INPUT_EXCLUSIVE or INPUT_SHARED or to open as specified in the queue attrubute - INPUT_AS_Q_DEF. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
