One qmgr was suspended from the cluster, after that I had to create the clussdrs and clusrcvr to the repositories(2). The repositories can see the qmgr and both show the qmgr as suspend(NO) BUT on the qmgr if I do
dis clusqmgr(*) where (suspend eq yes)
the qmgr shows both repositories as suspend(YES), I've issued the resume qmgr cluster but it seems like there is something else missing. It is not a communication issue, all the channels connect and have the cluster property set, etc...
What else can I probe or do ?
Thanks. |

Moving it to the clusters forum... _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

just to add more info, the repositories are iSeries(6.0.2.7), the qmgr with problems runs over AIX (6.0.2.4)
Is there any bug reported or something ?
the qmgr is not able to get the QMID of the repositories, and we don´t have any network outage or anything... :S |

Adding more info,
Cluster sender channels are the ones with suspend(YES), and I can´t make it resume to the cluster, but the FR see the qmgr as resumed.... |

in most cases i saw this suspend when there were problems typos etc. during definitions of the cluster objects. sometimes this crews up things.
from your other post i assumed you already tried to remove what you did and start from scratch. follow the documented procedures in the cluster manual.
although it is not clear to my why a qmgr is suspended and then you start to define cluster channels. ?!? if the qmgr is suspended, it is already in the cluster. so resume would have been your friend.
however, again - follow the documented procedures. _________________ Regards, Butcher |

Try to just issue refresh cluster(clustername) on the AIX box and let us know if you still have the problem.
IBM says to use this if the qmgr needs to rejoin the cluster...
It typically also updates the qmgr's cluster repository (even if you are a PR).
