Hi Guys,

I was looking at the support pacs and came across the

IA12: WebSphere Message Brokers for z/OS - CICSRequest node.

Wondering if there is one which supports AIX.

Same,No.
But you can use CTG and development a node.

Much better to send a MQ message to CICS using the CKTI supplied by IBM or code your own MQ-CICS interface.

Actually we have created a Java compute Node as a sub flow to reuse it, which takes the BLOB and using eciRequest we post the data to CICS and receives the response in BLOB and RCD wired to it transforms it to MRM.

I was wondering why not the support extended for AIX as normally 90 out of 100 uses AIX. I will put a request to the author and see what he responds.
Its good to have it as a built in node in the palette.

Because execute CICS program is "easy" in z/Os but not out z/OS, requiered adapter, CTG for example, Node CICS request in z/Os required API EXCI and SNA Protocol, API EXCI exist only in z/OS.

I think, Maybe IBM create Node CISCrequest for AIX But required CTG o same.

Its good to see in WMBv7.0, I am putting a request using the following link

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=849&context=SSKM8N&context=SS3GH2&context=SSKMAB&context=SSLLVC&q1=requirements+form&uid=swg21266802&loc=en_US&cs=utf-8&lang=en

Guys, please don't hesitate to fill the document and submit it to IBM so that we can see lot of new functionalities in coming releases.
