All,

I've searched the relevant documentation etc... whih all seems to be a bit light around use of the TCPIP nodes?

I'm having the following in issue on AIX with WMB 6.1.0.3

I have the following nodes in a synchronus setup, MQInput node then TCPIPClientOutput then TCPIPClientReceive then MQReply node.

I get the correct response ok on the TCPIPClientReceive node but the MQMD isn't carried forward, so the ReplyTo details are lost?

My understanding from reading the docs is the MQMD shouold be carried forward as the nodes are in the same flow?

Any pointers/assistance greatly appreciated?

Regards

If you save the original message in the Environment folder you can ensure that it is available throuought the flow.
This covers any overwriting of the Root folder by other operations.

Many thanks for the response, that's the approach i'm now looking at.

My understanding was I shouldn't have to do that and I was kind of hoping that would be the case.

I suppose though adopting this approach as you said always means i'll have the correct information.

Many thanks
