Can someone please give me a few hints about how a JMS client connection is secured with SSL?
We have added a certificate to the queue manager.
We can create a CCDT if needed.
Does the JMS client need a certificate and where is it stored?
Any info appreciated.
Plus what would be a suitable example of a JMS client program to test this with - is there one of the support pacs written as JMS? |

I don't know if THIS may be of any help to you in the initial set up, the second part of it anyway. Also, there is the MQSSLKEYR environment variable involved. As regards a test application, what about the postcard sample? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Thanks, does that mean JKS (Java Keystore) files are needed? |

As far as I am aware, yes. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Great, that's helpful.
I am planning to attend the webcast also. |
