The programmers are asking me for a MQI.lib.

I am using WMQ 7 on WIndows, but I can not find a mqi.lib or mqi.dll

Any idea what they could be looking for >?

mqm.lib or mqic32.lib

These libs are present in their MQ installations, if they have a full MQ installation.

The Application Programming Guide in the InfoCentre, which explains how to link WMQ (in all of the available methods and scenarios) in an application programme.

I mention this because I've seen inexperienced coders (and idle coders) who've not reviewed the document spend hours looking for problems caused by linking the wrong lib and then whining at me that "the queue manager's broken".

It's the looking that takes a while; the whining tends to end abruptly.
