Ah, a euphemism. Like outplaced instead of fired. Or, donation instead of theft (IBMs reference to mainframe WLM). Or, reorganization instead of lemmings running off the edge of a cliff. |
I speak management, but with something of an accent. I can't quite manage "functionally deficient" when I mean "broken".

The word has 13 listed variations which are all in common use.
buggered - broken; very tired
also means no further hope, beyond recovery. "His chances of success were buggered"

I'm considered an ethnic minority. On the plus side only one person has insulted me to my face. On the minus side he's both the county commissioner and the next door neighbor......
