Hi All,
There is a lot of postings on this forum about the setmqcap and dspmqcap for MQServer 6.0 on wondows 2003. I cannot find the resolution and i'm hoping this can be cleared up.
I'm running MQServer 6.0.2.2 on windows 2003. When i type in dspmqcap and setmqcap, this command is not recognised. What is the new command for MQ6 on windows? Or how do i set my MQ licence on windows? |

That's a rather rude response to someone who probably did what you should have in the first place - Googled. The link may not be applicable to your platform, but at least he tried.
Go to the Info Centre, punch setmqcap into the search bar and select the second entry - the information you seek is there, and this is the last time I do your research and reading for you _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

I cannot find anything of help for setmqcap and dspmqcap for MQ 6 for windows. I'm trying to re-license my MQ installation using only 1 CPU on a dual core 2 CPU server. Can you help? |

From the Info Centre: On a Windows system, you do not need to issue the setmqcap command because you are asked during the installation of the extended transactional function whether you have purchased sufficient license units.
Now, which bit of that didn't you understand? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |
