In MQ 7.0 does it support multiple nodes pointing to a single storage media? Apparently it does not in MQ 6.0.
Do you mean nodes in terms of failover nodes? If so the answer is not directly.
Both versions support backup queue managers, and can be used with all failover software products like any other software. Support pacs are available to use WMQ under most (all?) of these failover systems. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Sorry to disagree with you again (third time today!) but.....
the latest Mq 7 refresh pack supports qm failover / standby qms without the need of a support pack or external clustering software. It's called multi instance qms now... http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=50560
There is no Active-Active configuration in v7.0.1. You can not run two instances of the same queue manager on different nodes at the same time pointing to the same storage.
Ergo, you are either both right or both wrong - as this is not fundamentally different in v7 than it was in v6. It's just easier and more supported in v7.
You only get simultaneous access of the same queue from multiple nodes on zOS when you have a sysplex shared queue.
