Hi friends,
I am new to MQSI. I was trying to configure MQSI as per the bipyac03.pdf file. I got the the following error. Queue manager(MQSI_SAMPLE_QM) is running on the same system and I started MQconfig and broker as well. But I couldn't find out the error. Pls suggest me what should i do for the following error.
Thanks in Advance.
---
BIP1351S: MQSeries queue manager MQSI_SAMPLE_QM unknown on host system 170.38.5.73.
When connecting to the MQSeries queue manager, the name supplied is not that of a queue manager known to MQSeries on host system 170.38.5.73. The Control Center is unable to communicate with the Configuration Manager.
Check that the queue manager name entered in the Control Center File->Connection dialog box has been correctly specified, and that an MQSeries queue manager with the required name exists on the specified host system. Note that MQSeries queue manager names are case-sensitive. For more information on this error, see the MQSeries Application Programming Reference manual, code 2058.

Is the listener of the Queue Manager running? Did you set the correct
listener port number for Control Center? Check File -> Connection for the setting. |
